I can see the merit of a white or evo shield start, blue and purple is a little excessive in my book.
The idea of starting with a p20 is great though, I'd rather put faith in my aim than my ability to punch in a FPS.
Here's an idea, everyone drops with blue shields but also be able to level up to purple.(no red armor) and maybe with a 1200-1500 damage done for gold armor upgrade for end game.( gold armor should just be fast shields not fast heals).
White shields are how I remember the shotguns and snipers mode only games are over quickly as everyone gets melted by one clip. Not a fan at all.
