Battle pass worth it?

The premium battle pass won't do significant work getting towards 500 packs, but it does help.

Think of it this way: If you are going to play the game enough to reach lvl 100, which is not at all hard to do, buying the BP is well worth it - for the lvl 1 skins, lvl 25 and 50 skins, crafting materials, extra packs, little bonus items like skydive emotes, and the reactive weapon skins. You make back more coins than you spent to buy the pass. As a newer player, a lot of the lesser skins, that seasoned players consider "filler," give you something besides the default to put on the weapons.  I think for even the very casual player who expects to play several times a week, it's a no-brainer really.
