Before cross platform: account merge?
Hey y'all, I know everyone is waiting for cross-platform and mouse support on consoles, and also the industry is talking about why Apex doesn't have cross platform yet... but for me, I would love to...

@cheatercheater00 Sorry, but around launch there was the following comment basically saying cross-progression isn't going to happen.
"Although cross-play is unavailable at launch, Respawn told Eurogamer it "plans to allow players to play with their friends on other platforms". Cross-progress and cross-purchases, however, will never be possible in Apex Legends, "due to the way systems were set up early on" which "can't [be] reconciled after the fact".

I just switched to PC. I have an expensive account on PS4 but got no connections to it. Furthermore, I want this merges progress to be happened. Literally it has nothing about money, I won't spend anything until I merged accounts lol
How about un-merging accounts?
I have merge my account with my son's PS4 account. Don't ask me why, I thought it would add a layer of protection, which was not the case. And nobody told us that it would not let me go back and unmerge it.
However after many discussions with EA and Respawn, this is not going to be possible because they can't tell which account is which and it would create progress-loss.
@cheatercheater00, any comments on that? Is it really impossible to unmerge EA accounts via the Nucleus system as you claim?
