OP is correct. Sometimes I think these games are a social experiment. To see how kids react to the issues a game like this causes. I had to teach my kids about these things as they were really being affected by this game. Knowing EA and how they do 'business' none of this surprises me. Since day 1 I warned my kids about this game. I hate it myself but allowed them to play it because I want them to experience these things and learn on their own. Neither one of them plays it anymore for the exact same reasons the OP outlined.
