Best rando thread ever!

@DarthValtrex That wouldn’t matter. Every server has hundreds, if not thousands on most time periods. You’ll never get all on your team.

Even me who played religously in the past met so many different ppl or saw some champions or names that I knew from previous games (either from the same day or other days in the past) but have never been with them in the team.

This would ensure that you don’t come in the team with complete idjots (yes I spelled it like that to emphasize that word).

Earlier today I had a match where I was in Contagion upon the roof nearest to Bunker with 2 lvl 100+... first encounter I did brute of the killing... another team comes when we are already healed up and I ping ‘em way ahead of time. One teammate is looking that way (I’m assuming ready to strike), other is still looting a death box.

Team is on us, I down the first one very quickly... he tried to pathfinder his way up top to shoot from above but I think I caught him off guard cause I was already there and focused on him when he was climbing. Other teammate knocked the other... other teammate? still looting the same death box -_-. So last enemy is me vs wraith. I get her all good and out of her armor 😏 but I go down due to me having to fight with almost no armor because of the pathfinder fight. I ping where the wraith is while my teammate is searching for her (this was After Dark map but they were meters apart on the roof) so wraith jumps down, I ask my lifeline to help me up... she takes a while but does it. Wraith comes up to me the second I get rezzed... so I shoot obviously and break her armor again but go down... what does full armor lifeline do while me, a 20 hp Revenant is shooting a single Wraith with no armor ? Run away right after I get rezzed... I go down again obviously... lifeline jumps up on the roof again and tries to find Wraith who has jumped down to heal. (This has been going on for around 25-40 seconds now) so second teammate finally gets into the mix. I ask the lifeline to get me back up again... she doesn’t, runs right past me to where the Wraith & Mirage are fighting (below the building near the stairs), mirage goes down and I’m like ‘wtf... you worthless noob’ and right then the lifeline goes in... dies...

My mic automatically turns on and you know what happends...

Match after that, I get into the team with same damn mirage. What happends there? He dies right away and I’m like ‘screw this’ D/C to capitalize on Dark map and go in again... who do I get? That damn lifeline again who switched to Wraith and I was ready to D/C right away till I saw a buddy of mine as the third person. I msg him immediately that the match is gonna suck. I was right. She goes off doing her own thing, shoots at enemies way beyond her shooting skill & gets downed beautifully...

Of course I blocked both of them on Xbox but that means SQUAT cause you still get grouped up with ppl you block for some reason and that prompted this thread.

@Koochi-Q I promise to abuse this feature to my heart's content if it's ever added, I always play at the same time everyday these days and tend to notice the same names in my team white often, well now I just leave if I see them because of how consistent they're at sucking, somehow even more consistent than my urge to hot drop....

@MandatoryIDtag Hahaha had a good chuckle at that one. Same here. If I had to guess, I blocked at least over 300 people on Xbox... this is likely a gross understatement because I basically block 95% of the ppl I play with on a given day. So I know that that figure’s at least double that...

@Pretzelnutcake, it can’t be abused, that’s the good part of it! The ppl you block just won’t come in your team, but they will still be in the same lobby. It’s foolproof.

It’d even be better if the same person is blocked by hundreds or thousands of ppl and the server gives that blocked person a notice: ‘Good day, all the people in this lobby have blocked you. Therefore we couldn’t place you in this lobby so you’ll have to wait a little while longer. By the way, you must suck’ XD.

@MandatoryIDtag Nahhh, you cant block thousands upon thousands in a week. And every single person has to block a certain person to not be on that person’s team.

Tell me, how often have you’ve had the same person on your team in a certain week or month. I bet that number has never been 5 times. Me, I got one person 3 times. 2 in one night (midnight) and once somewhere days later. Other than that, never had a rando more than that even tho I see some names I recognize.

This system almost cant be abused cause ppl dont always play at the same time as other ppl. Some play only specific hours and it’s illogical to think that in that specific timeframe, so many ppl block that one person (remember, he had to have been in your team the previous match to actually block him) who doesn’t play much.

But lets, for argument’s sake say sweaty lobbies. Then it’ll be sweaty lobbies filled with ppl who actually know what they’re doing. It’d rather have that than incompetent noobs who drag me down or who get us killed. But thats just me

But in the long run it will def do more bad than good, but alot won’t block since they have 2 guys they team up with or 1 guy. Other ppl might not block :P

It’s kinda like you carrying a team (hard) and not always getting a sudden mic unmute with a “GG” or getting a msg saying the same or a friend request. I think same will happen for bad ppl that they wont always be blocked.

But... block limits never happened in minecraft ☹️ look how many blocks are there!

@Koochi-Q I dunno, i was solo queuing yesterday and killed a friend at Mirage Voyage. I thought hey that path is playing like my friend.. shot and killed him anyways.. i notice someone spectating me the entire round.

I finally get out of match and he’s a little upset that I killed him with a charge rifle.

I was also killed by a friend in a round of ranked before. 😑 he shot me off of a jump tower... he was so proud of himself he clipped it.
