Bought myself a nibtendo switch to try Apex

Really looking forward to chilling on my couch after a long days work playing Apex while not having to watch real housewives of every place on the planet with my misses, played apex a lot on pc xbox and ps4 so ofc I wanted a portable version.

Was wondering though after trying fortnite to see what to expect performance wise if we will be mixed with other console players, anyone know?

Far as I'm concerned sub 30fps and very bad view distance etc would make it very difficult to compete so hoping its only vs other switch users as default, we couldnt really take it series even a little if facing next gen.

@CAGOA34 the only thing i'd suggest you is to play Nintendo's exclusive games, they are the best ones out there. Just don't force yourself with Apex on it lol.

@CAGOA34 I recently got a switch so I figure i might as well try it out too. I'm a PC player, and suck with a controller so we'll see how it goes haha.

@Cro_Pittt Not even looked at any games yet tbh just want portable apex first, havent played apex in months and looking for some casual fun vs likeminded people (which I'm guessing switch users are?).

Expensive little piece of kit too btw, £280 for the switch, find out it only has 32gb memory so need to expand since Apex is 30gb at least then you cant plug an ethernet in so need to buy an adapter if playing on tv then a pro controller for a fair bit also incase you play on tv since thoses joycons are made for a 2 year olds finger.

Will eventually get round to buying monster hunter games and the zeldas and maybe dark souls but for now, Apex.

@CAGOA34 you will need rubber covers for Pro controller sticks, and I think you can get 60fps if Nintendo switch is in the Dock (which should have come with it and hdmi cable) second TV and headphones needed (mic is optional). Also 64gig sd card.
Then put main game in system memory and the rest on sd for optimising main game. Set sd card for captures.
Might have been better to get xbox one s and 2 controllers deal.

Meanwhile kids are starving, trying to eat... I am one of them XD

Who the heck buys a console for a third party game?! Not even that, but for an already played game that’ll undoubtedly play worse than the already played version, just for (freedom to roam) convenience sake!

What has this world come to?!?
