Ever since the new update my matchmaking has been unbearable. Ranked matches, currently gold 2 but put in lobbies full of previous preds. My whole squad slimed every gunfight. Casual matches, forced into the highest skill bracket with "Player skill distribution" Again slimed every gunfight. Before the update my matches were balanced and enjoyable. After the update, it's a new form of torture.
Out of curiosity, what was your highest rank ever achieved?
This is what my lobbies look like every single match. I don't really play ranked, since launch, however my highest ever rank achieved was Gold 1.
Yet again, this picture above is what I get every match. Now one would think that after 15 straight matches of this and getting wiped back to lobby almost instantly every match.... that it would bump me down at some point - nope!
Played 30 matches straight, without one single time of relief. Again... my highest rank ever achieved, is Gold 1.

Not for one minute am I trying to defend the horrific matchmaking in this game, but if you dig deep enough sometimes you can figure out what the algorithm sees in you that it would use as an excuse.
I'm not suggesting you post any of the following data points here, but look closely at:
I have no definitive proof that #4 is a real thing, but it sure would explain a lot.
Highest rank ever was Gold 1 and again, I've only played ranked a handful of times in the last 6 years. I have some high stats I guess, but only because I have played so long... doesn't mean I'm any good lol.
Over KD is 0.8 for the last 6 years / current KD is terrible, maybe 0.6
win rate is not very good, can't remember what exactly it is.
I also only play solo Q, as everyone I know and my sons gave up on rEAspawn and this game.
