Apparently there's just over 10 mil max players per day which begs the question why matchmaking and que times are horrendous when nearly 50% play ranked each season, according to EA.

I believe those numbers are incorrect.
But, assuming those numbers are accurate, it clearly shows that matchmaking has issues.

Also, I am starting to believe that there is some sort of "fudging" with hit registration.
Just few minutes ago I unloaded an entire spitfire mag on a revenant. It hardly took any damage. Just my opinion.
