Apex ban appeals are a Joke

Recent “gameplay enhancement” bans have made it hard to trust the TOS appeal system at all.

I do not believe these appeals are being properly reviewed. The responses look automated, or at the very least extremely careless. A player I spoke to on Discord was banned for the same reason I was and also got a rank points deduction penalty. Later, the permanent ban was lifted, meaning the original enforcement was clearly wrong. Yet the rank penalty tied to that same accusation is still active.

When they appealed the rank penalty, they got the same template denial again.

That is the problem. If the ban was reversed because it was false, then the related rank penalty should also be reversed. Keeping one punishment in place after admitting the other was wrong makes no sense.

I asked them to submit another appeal just to test whether anyone was actually reviewing it, and once again they received the same template response.

This does not look like meaningful human review. It looks like appeals are being processed by bots, AI, or people who are not actually reading the case details. There is no reasonable way a human reviewer would remove a false ban but leave the connected rank penalty untouched.

The TOS team needs to seriously review these cases instead of sending copy-paste responses. Players deserve a real appeals process, not an automated wall.
