Can’t link PlayStation account to EA account – no Live Chat option in Japan

Hi EA Support,  
I'm having trouble linking my PlayStation account to my EA account.  
I live in Japan and cannot access the Live Chat support option, even after switching to the English site or using a VPN from the US.

I used to play Apex Legends on PlayStation, but now I want to play on Steam.  
However, I can't link my PSN and EA account properly, and when I try to play, my data appears to be reset.  
I really need assistance recovering my Apex Legends data and properly linking my accounts so I can continue playing on Steam.

Could someone please help or escalate this to a support representative?

    negicha2980​ You would need to link your Steam Account to the same EA Account that your PlayStation Account is linked to as your Apex progress and data is stored on your EA Account.

    Thanks for your reply.

     

    Yes, I understand that I need to link my Steam account to the same EA account that my PlayStation account is linked to.

    But that’s exactly what I’m having trouble with.

     

    My EA account is already linked to my Steam account, but my PlayStation Network account is not linked, which I believe is why my Apex data appears to be reset.

    For context, I used to play Apex Legends on PlayStation, and I’m trying to continue playing on Steam.

     

    I’ve already tried logging into the correct EA account, but something is wrong with the linking process.

     

    I also tried contacting EA through Live Chat, but the option isn’t available in Japan, even with a VPN.

    negicha2980​ When you started playing on the PlayStation, it should of required you to have signed in with an EA Account, (which that EA Account should be the account with your PlayStation's progress).
