Can anyone give me actual advice on how to find teammates on lfg's longterm

Basically ever since season 8, I've tried lfg's on all types of social medias. most of the time that I do find people, it only last a couple of days and then they vanish. I don't wanna solo que arenas and if I can't find a team, I think I might delete the game at this rate. I don't understand why this isn't talked about all that much cause lfg's are typically hit or miss.

  • I been playing since season 1, had a few seasons break spread over apex life but in general that is my timeframe.

I have to admit, finding team mates is freeking hard, and when you do you will get smoldered in sbmm. You end up against other premades and its sweaty as hell. This is what has broken my previous teams in the past, not wanting to push through the rut and learn how to sweat as one so one gets progression. Now in season 11 it seems like we found our last teammember who is willing to truck on to gitgood, and he came from a random game and progressed into our regular rotation that I have with an old bud I played with a few seasons now.

I dont think there is an easy out when it comes to finding a team, for some that might be apex discord, some lfg services, some forums, some randoms, some rl friends.

For my case, its not helping that im old as hell itself hehe, but at any rate use the mediums at hand and look, and you will prevail :D

@Zkepz What you mention of the team based sbmm does really damage teams. I've met so many that were used to solo lobbies saying how good they were doing, they ask to play and after a couple hours of cranked up sbmm where they tell me my lobbies are awful I never hear from them again. I tell them it's not my lobbies. My solo lobbies are nothing like that. haha
  • @soccerking122 I had greatest success actually talking to and playing with randoms. Still it took me a very long time to get a full team. Same you have to understand that most of the time you get worse at the game in the start with a premade as it takes time getting used to more sweaty matchmaking and at the same time getting fused as a team. Many teams tend to break up before it starts getting better.
