Can Car be a light ammo gun or was this a bug?

Tonight while warming up in bot royale I got a Car Smg right after the drop and it showed as being a light ammo weapon instead of the usual heavy ammo.  Was this intentional or just a bug?  Anyone el...

What I still don't know is: if I attach a light mag can I still use heavy ammo, and if I attach a heavy mag can I still use light ammo?

@reconzero Yes you can use any mag with any ammo with a CAR. This is the benefit of it over an r99. It's easier to kit but harder to control.
