@bosourd Idk, Im not saying these cheats don't exist, but there's a lot of assuming going on here. You say that you can tell by their general gameplay, but that doesn't really mean anything. Like, looting slow or not using abilities, there's a million reasons why they aren't acting the way you'd expect them to act.
@bosourd but that's the thing, you say that it would be naive not to suspect fishy players, but I feel like it's also pretty naive to think that someone beat you for any unordinary reason. I mean, generally you have no reason to suspect that anyone is incapable of doing something they just did. Someone else winning isn't a cause for suspicion, but there's definitely a loser mentality that demands reasons for their loser-ness and "they're cheating" is an incredibly easy answer for someone trying to avoid the truth. No one even knows exactly how prevalent cheaters are in the game, so there's no way to guess how probible it is that the person you're playing against is cheating. I don't deal with cheaters that much, but the true gamers on this forum would lead you to believe that they're everywhere. The objective here is to call out unreasonable gameplay and that's fine as long as everyone is honest about what is and isn't reasonable.
