Can we play using other PS4 controller ?

@EA_Blueberry Can we play using other PS4 controller, such as scuff vantage or pictek or astro? To forum member: If CM said yes, which one u recommend ?

Don't buy scuff, it's insane to buy a controller that costs more than your PS4. Plenty of other Xbox controller copycats for a fair price.

There's also input adapters that can make you use a stock Xbox, or Xbox pro controller on a playstation.

Sony really has to fix up their standard controller. Xbox controller is so much better and more comfortable, particularly for guys.

@Wingmannedbro All true, but ppl seem to want to play on kids’ controllers, so I let them.

If thats what they want and want the best option, scuff pro controller. Nothing says ‘hey Xbox controllers are the best’ by almost literally making the controller a direct Xbox Elite controller clone, even down to the stick and D-pad scheme being the same.

  Dont know how anyone games without an elite controller.... forgot mine at a buddies once, went back to a stock controller and man was it different having to take my thumbs off the stick... its almost unfair!

    @Jem450R I know what you mean. Since the Elite Controller came out I had one. The rubber was the messed up part so I had to buy another one... even have the limited Gears version... so I have 3 at home atm.
    
    When the Elite V2 came out, instantly bought it but due to it being first model... a lot of problems for almost everyone. I was lucky to only have sticky buttons, but if I’m gonna pay 180 bucks I want a fully functioning one so returned it and keeping an eye on changes on reddit. There’s a megathread and so far lot 5140 seems to be okay...

    When I played with the stock controller a year back at a gaming party... I don’t even wanna talk about it...
    
    Tho if the X360 controller would be made compatible with X1, I’d take that any day over the Elite.
