This has been going on for years.  The only thing that changed is they give you a BS skill distribution graphic now that proves how absolutely trash the matchmaking is.  SMH

Ranked early season is always sweaty. Mixtape is full of cheaters, so also pretty sweaty. Pubs is purely feast or famine. You will face bots (possibly actual bots) or you will face the best of the best players, frequently both in the same match. If you're looking for a casual match against equally skilled players then you're looking in vain. But remember: if the game keeps matching you against really good players and you keep queueing up for more then the game doesn't see a problem. Quit more in pubs, early game or late game does not matter, and your matches will get easier.

Also, do a no fill in pubs every now and then to see where the red line is on the player skill distribution. You're probably higher up the food chain than you think if you're getting brutal match after brutal match. Leaving matches early is the best way to explain to the skill assessment algorithm that it's made a mistake.
