Has anyone randomly been playing and heard or seen a cat? I landed at Gauntlet on Kings canyon and on one of the sides of the fire ring, sitting in the window, was a cat. It meowed and ran off before disappearing.
I’ve seen like 10 of them now and forget to screen shot them every time but those are it. Has to be a teaser towards Artemis lol.

However, I wonder if it has any connection to the lore, or if its related to one of the Creator's Community Art Trackers we've had, (where it was a cat):
Update: About 7 hours after posting this reply, I had heard a cat meowing at this building on Storm Point, (while I haven't seen the cat yet, it doesn't seem to be random, as it meows everytime I had went there):
Good to know other people are experiencing this too, I thought my house was straight up haunted considering I had 2 cats die to a sickness. I have experienced this before, I was playing a ranked match and just got out of fight, **bleep** near dead, and out of no where I heard a meow, so I asked my friend if he had a cat, but his mic was muted at the time of the meow and he didn't have a cat, but he did also hear the meow as well and was about to ask me the same question, cool that it's in the game I guess, maybe lore related, welp, a new thing to throw on the lore conspiracy theory pile (now the list of my lore conspiracy theories are: blood writing in E-district, TV's still playing news report even after abandonment, pathfinder painting in E-district, the blood writing that says "the angles failed us", something along those lines and finally the newest one, the cat meow)
I saw a cat in the e-District near "city hall" that disappeared into the "bushes."
When I was at the Shipyard Arcade, I saw this "cat", (which kind of looks like a dog):
Then I saw this one at the Galleria:
I think its related to the new legend, as the cats didn't start appearing until after this was posted:
That first one is def a dog - a Frenchie, and the second is a rabbit...?
SewerTierGamer I'm not sure, but both meowed like cats when I ran past them.

iiQueasyTTV So it does seem like this cat is tied to the new legend, as the cat is showing up near survey beacons, (which would hint towards the legend being a recon legend).

That is so bad, the randoms cat noises (which are quite loud) make me react instantly, and use my tactical to get away from the spot immediately (especially when I'm Wraith). I got killed once off of that cuz my Q was on cooldown.

Same here! I had jumped and then shot at one of my random teammates when I had heard the cat meow.
The cat meowing on its own causes issues in fights, scares players, and overall isn't fun to deal with, (especially when we can't hear most of the audio cues anyways). Respawn should of made the cat be interactable instead, (to where it would only meow when interacted with).
