@dSKyNafinchin In the past I've asked on here why shields in boxes are full. No one really knew. I think this is a test. I believe not being able to shield swap would change the way the game is played.

So, it's a personal thing, I am just not a fan of what seems to be Chinese New Year themed anything, and that goes for any game. I mean, I'm not saying another person shouldn't, it's just me. Also, though, aside from that, most of the skins and graphics I see for such things are just done poorly. The best Chinese New Year anything I've seen was....no surprise...an actual parade in New York City with a Foo dragon and all that. Firecrackers everywhere, back in the day.Overwatch stands out as having the same problem. The skins they put out are, for the most part, lackluster. There are a few exceptional ones, like their Pharah and their Reaper, but otherwise it's a lot of phone in stuff.Nothing wrong with the idea of the event, but really, they can be done better. This one looks absolutely meh to me, at least the last event had better skins.

@Kyldenar Yeahh no thanks i want that armor swap because i don't want to give free kills to a 3rd party.

@Cheese9Man Definitely happy to see that it is not a takeover event. I'll definitely give it a try, because I do like hardcore modes on traditional shooters. Just not sure how I'll feel about it for a BR. The exclusion of helmets gives me Halo SWAT vibes, so I could end up thoroughly enjoying it. Only time will tell.

I like the idea of no armor swaps. I might be in the minority here, but health shouldn't regen at all, in a hardcore mode. I'm cool with that.

Curious to see how limited the HUD is. Are we talking just removing compass, health and weapon/ammo bars, or like Halo LASO, with no reticle at all.

I like the reactive PK skin, but I already have the reactive BP skins for it, so it's nothing I'm clamoring to get my hands on.

None of the skins really stand out to me. I kinda like the Gibby one, but I don't think it's new?

That Date Night LTM? Not sure how that Heart Stealer will be. It heals you, a percentage of the damage that you deal with it. Also the AoE for heals is interesting. I can't remember if these features were around, last time we had this mode.

I'm mostly interested in the Hardcore mode. I don't really buy skins, so I'm not too concerned with those. Just hoping the LTM's are fun to play! I'm always down for variety

If they are dead, their shields were most likely broke (unless they died to Caustic Poison or the Ring). Why is it now magically FULL when the next guy picks it up?

If it refils then, why can't I just drop mine on the ground, pick it back up, and it be full!

ARMOR SWAPPING SHOULD NOT BE A THING FROM DEATHBOXES!

@hayhor I've always wondered if the death box sorcery is explained anywhere in the lore, Lmao! I'm in the same boat. If I died, that means my shield is depleted, yea? I'm fine with it either way, I've just always been curious about the explanation as to how the shields magically recharge upon death. Curious to see how this mode goes, with no armor swaps, even though it's just white shields
