Change of ownership on an EA/Xbox acc

Hello i wanted to get some help on a very specific problem with my Account on EA and Xbox

to make it short.  a few years ago when i was a minor my family gave me an xbox and my father made an account previously in wich i played for years, saving all my progress in HIS microsoft/EA account on the game Apex Legends and all my Cosmetics, level and progress in general is there

then all my Apex Legends progress is tied to HIS account, now i have my own accounts and im trying to recover all progress, is there a way to transfer or recover my Apex stuff due to change of ownership?

  • Champisancio Sadly no, your Apex progress and data is stored on the EA Account which cannot be transferred or, (merged), to another EA Account, even if you switch your Xbox Account link around, (which I would advised against doing so as unlinking a platform account can cause a loss of some, (or all), of your Apex progress and data).

That being said, the only thing I can think of, (assuming your father doesn't use the same EA and Xbox Accounts to play his games), is to update the email address for both of the accounts to use your email address instead.

What this would do, (assuming you are allowed to change the email addresses on the accounts), is it would put the accounts under your control similar to how you can update the passwords and the accounts would still be the same, (in which case, you wouldn't need to create your own EA and Xbox Accounts as you would had taken over the ones you owned under your father's email address).

Note: The accounts should both be yours if you are going the route of updating the email addresses.
