Change ranked RP system

I wasn't originally a fan of removing protection as it gave you a point where a higher bracket would hit you hard and you were forced to improve but then the idea grew on me as those that can gain RP will inevitable climb at some point anyway.

Problem is without that protection you'll have people throwing matches just end up at the bottom and this'll likely be exploited quite hard making ranked more of a joke than it already is. The split system is already creating a pick and mix so another tier fluctuation will likely make it that much worse.

Yeah I see that and one of three things happen. I say Nope and run off on my own. I think well, I'm either going to die right now or get a nice clip to share on the AHQ video thread. I find a high ground POI and start sniping with the Sentinel, cracking enemies for 88-130 as my teammates finish them off.. Teammates then get the "I'm a gaming god complex" because they have a bunch of kills.. They proceed to get downed by a person with an alternator and white armor..

We should play one of these days. I'm sure I'll stress you out. Shooting at two different squads yeah I've done that.

@DarthValtrex I actually just stood there and waited to see who got downed first and went to help the other one. We still died. 😛

I haven't been playing much to destress... xD but i'm always down for some games though. I just find it more frustrating than fun atm. Combination of issues and the direction the games going, taking a break and not being able to carry much as my own performance has dropped since that 2 season break that also comes with a barrage or toxicity because i have a pred badge/trail. Even with Path having low profile removed just doesn't feel as fluid or fun as it used to.

I'll hang around for this new mode we apparently have for S9 but i'm near the end of the line with this game now.

I kind of ran into that with BFV I used to be really good in a tank on BFV. I could go 70-1 in a tank no issue. But I sort of burnt out on the game and found Apex to be more interesting. Now when I try and play BFV I just don't enjoy it. In part because I'm not as good as I was and in part because I just don't know the maps that well anymore.

I have been debating removing my badges and stats from my banner. I don't even have pred trail or crazy stats.. 4,000 kills and 1.5 Million damage on Bangalore and a few hundred wins. People see that and think "Oh I have a sweat who can carry me" then they do stupid things and expect me to pull of miracles. That or I pull off some crazy plays in the first 2 rounds and they try a suicidal push on an enemy who has high ground.

But I still make the best of it and have fun with the game most of the time. Bad teammates happen and we've all been that bad teammate who does something dumb. I make fun of myself when I do something stupid in game to try and lighten things up for my teammate.
