The only thing I can say about the rapid fire. Is that their is / was a bug when using the Hemlock in captial city where the gun goes off as rapid fire. I play on a regular ps4 controller and this has happened to me that my Hemlock sounded like a fully auto but I had to burst fire it in game it was the weirest thing I did report the bug after my game.
Now I'm not discrediting that people on console arn't running around with a modded controller / scripts because I've seen a G7 at fully auto mowing down teams.
Your not the only one that has experienced this or seen it happen.
