Youre right , its not the cheaters ... its the industries worst netcode and nobody dares to touch it bcs all the people in the know have already jumped ship. Hop over on reddit or Steam Forums and you can read the same over and over again, people getting oneclipped in fractions of a second while hitting the target first, but if you spectate you likely finds out its not a good player that cant even do a steady oneclip. it all ties into the stuff already known, like sounds being played way too late, ect.
That stuff appeared around S9 and got worse with every addition of new stuff, they simply overloaded the game without realizing it starting to hurt players. Around Season 18 other people started to report the same issues more and more often (hitreg issues without any network indication,ect) eg. on reddit or Steam Forums, and i guess most of them brush it off as cheating and leave the game for good. maybe its hardware related but then it should show on every game you play but i think its more tied to certain days, some days it feels fine, and other days its totally r1gged.
