Consoles shouldn't get extra aim assist.If people are unaware consoles have more aim assist then PC controller users. If a console player joins a PC lobby, they automatically get this extra aim assist that PC players with controllers do not.I'm asking Console aim assist should be the same as PC, when joining PC servers.

Yeah sure if console players will have the ability to tap strafe, move while looting, and have a whole arm to finely control recoil. Also there’s an exploit in the game that mnk players can fool the game to think that they’re using a gamepad to get aim assist. I can’t even aim while jumping because i have to move my right thumb away from the stick just to jump.

@ILostT0Loba controller players may be Inclined use their whole arm to aim said controller at a wall after the aim assist has decided to aggressively drag your aim at the player you just downed, as opposed to the next one you're trying to shoot at. >.>

@Koochi-Q The thread about how Respawn (supposedly) can't handle the game they built has a very long post about how your thumb actually has more neurons devoted to it than the rest of everything else down from your shoulder. I don't know if that's true, but it could have some implications. Maybe I should try playing with a controller on PC and on PS4 for a few hours of side by side comparison. I wouldn't give up my 1080ti (slightly less than PS5 or xbox sx) smoothness at HD 1920x1080 resolution and switch to PS4. There are a lot of other factors besides input device.

@Cheese9Man ps4 is 30fps. i don't like the jerky controls on the ps4. i prefer 60 fps on my using my ps5 controller. and its prettier on pc. ps4 is ugly has low fps and has clunky controls. i havent tried on ps5 yet but i hear its 60 fps.

@B0n3SawMcSizzla Thanks for the info, I don’t know if that’s true, but even if it is, that’s yet another advantage for pc as they can have mice with trackerballs or finetune stuff to take advantage.

But let’s say that it’s true, console players still as cheeseman stated need to release grip of thumbstick for certain actions to be made while pc doesn’t if they have their hotkeys and inputs set up properly.

Having more neurons dedicated to one area makes it easier to have more precise movement, but it can also hamper the same thing. It’s just like how as babies or infants we have roughly half the amount more neurons than we do as adults cause they keep withering away allowing for better neural connection. That said, if you have more precise movement but the medium is still limited, it still won’t matter in the end xD

@gg123xyz that's good info about PS5 controllers. PS4 controllers don't work on PC. I was thinking I would get an XBOX one to replace my Steel Series Stratus.
@Koochi-Q That's a good point with the trackball. That guy could be full of it about neurons. Everybody I have seen try to switch from mouse to trackball went back to mouse. I wouldn't play with mouse on the highest sensitivity so thumbsticks should get some advantage. Probably above a certain skill level the extra aim assist can be leveraged better though.

@B0n3SawMcSizzla Exactly what I see. The top level players like to talk about switching but do it for a bit then go back. The latest I heard was hal was talking about doing hybrid. Late game he would switch to a controller for that final circle.

I am not sure where you are getting your info on PS4 controllers, but I use them on both steam and origins just fine. I play and get owned on pc for it pretty regularly. I have tried mkb and it just feels like more work myself.
