Constantly jumping in trio missing team mate or solo?

What’s causing that issue besides the obvious of someone just disconnecting or intentionally quitting during the character screen?

is it a server issue or a connection issue on my end? At least half of my games have ended up with an incomplete team or me solo?  I find it hard to believe that the player base is so small that they can’t find me a team mate lol.  I’m on console .  It’s happened before in the past but seems to be happening on a regular this season and I’m just wondering if something like that regularly could be a connection issue on my end .

    The game launches when 60 players have been granted a connection to the game server, however, not everyone is connected successfully.

    Sometimes the game will try and quickly reconnect disconnected players, but that too is not always successful. If a player is connected from the servers entirely when they reconnect they can be added to the game.

    The game will also sometimes pair a duo with a solo to make a full squad, but again this is not always a success.

    It's not you. My ethernet/ping/packet loss is probably as good as possible but it still happens to me, a lot.

    @fg1985bg Missing teammates are definitely not on your side.

    One way this problem occurs is when players are passed from the lobby server to the match server. Not sure, but I assume these connections use different setups, ports, etc., therefore some players occasionally get their connections refused or time out.

    Then, around the moments there's a map rotation, the queues get less players and there are matches that start with a few missing.

    Besides these, there are players that disconnect on purpose, when their main gets taken by someone else, when they don't like their teammates, the champions, etc. and also a few that are trying to exploit their way into easy lobbies.

    @fg1985bg similar issue 2 nights ago, except trio there for the start, jm jumps straight away then immediatly dc as does the other player. Have to say I was as bit confused, but soidiered on. Blocked both of them.

    @fg1985bg I get a few here or there but not every round. Maybe 1-2 out of 10-15 matches. Some nights it seems worse than others. If you're really struggling see if you can squad up with some forum members.

    I've had this issue constantly... for me though its because I think the connection is not going through. I would party up with my friends and start trios. But one of us would still be in the lobby server, the play button saying starting. Its just stuck there & you can't do anything unless you restart the game. I've had this going on since DAY ONE of the game. Its always in the beginning too, in the middle of selecting legends. The thing is, it is not that they quit. They won't even show up at all. 

    That is beginning to annoy be specially when you're playing in Trios or ranked, you would already be a man down. I don't know if they're going to ever fix this "bug"?? Don't even know what to call it. 

    I just gave up, thinking there is never going to be a fix for this. just have to try & play with this bug.

    I think in lobby if fill is turned off you don't get a full squad
