AIM Assist is absurd... it ruins the gaming experience... it feels like everyone is a hacker because of AIM Assist... solution: if you're a PC gamer and you play with a controller, you should be paired with console players and people who play with a controller... and keep mouse and keyboard players separate... so the game can be enjoyed, crossplay ruins the game.
So us pc controller players still need to be punished even more?!!!! We took the tap strafe nerfs, we took the aim assist nerfs, and now we need more!!?!? I respect MnK players alot but this nonsense about you losing because controller aim assist melting you is clear copium...
Apex hasnt ever been full MnK only even before crossplay and hopefully it stays that way for the longevity of its lifespan. You MnK players need to stop relying on run and gun strats and learn more mechanics such as tapstrafes, wallbouncing, neo-strafes, etc... Movement is you way to outmaneuver controller players and im saying this as someone who does "let the game aim for them". Many gunfights I have entered on controller that i have lost has been to an MnK player simply tapstrafing until my clip runs out of ammo while they kill me with their mastiff flicks(another MnK advantage...). Honestly, im unsure how much aim assist console has when playing on pc but as far as I know they still have 0.6 aa so your issue would be them, not the pc players playing on half that...
I know some of you MnK players would prefer controllers to have 0 aim assist but as someone with decades atp playing on controller semi-competitively and a few years playing MnK I know thats never gonna happen due to controller not really being as good a device to aim with comparitively... (compare #1 controller player's aim with #1 the MnK player's...)
I'd like to add that 4-3 Linear on a controller has completely destroyed the whole point of the game. These 4-3 Linear players practically have such perfect aim that nothing can stop them.
Aim assist is crazy good i had my first game with controller with little experience in shooting games with controller and i was one clipping pretty much everyone so aim assist needs to be nerfed or like you said lobbies need mnk only and controller only lobbies
This I agree with for other reasons, I’m controller and have had way more fun in console lobbies for the simple fact that we do not play the same. Console lobbies I can constantly push and barely die to bad players. Pc lobbies everyone’s camping, hard scoping, sitting in corners, camping height, or doing crazy wall bounces or movement I cannot aim at and my aim is good. My aims so good you’d prolly think I’m hacking but I cannot move like pc players. I’ve died more to pc players camping and hardscoping than actual good players that’s why I want separate lobbies that and for movement if I can’t move like you guys why tf am I in the same lobby bc I’m already at a disadvantage against better players. Ppl think aim assist is the problem but it’s really not. I played mnk to see what it was like and seems like you guys get aim assist too😭so movement, and aim against just aim. Trust me when I say this playing controller doesn’t do much when ur going against good pc players. Last thing, I’ve tried to get movement like pc on controller but its impossible everytime I tweak settings to much it messes up my aim. I think ur upset at the skill gap let me explain pc players who don’t play daily or as much as console players will lose that fight more often but if you play pc enough and you get really good at the game no matter how good you are on console you cannot compete with top pc players for the simple fact of movement and quick reaction on pc vs controller.
