You’re accusing me of being ignorant to information that isn’t disclosed.
The problem is that they imply cross-progression is possible by advertising the game as being playable on multiple platforms. Like you suggested, them “telling us” that our progress would be locked to one account WOULD be a great way for them to not be legally liable, but that isn’t the case, is it?

The point is, to many people, the game being “available” on so and so platform also directly means your purchases will be available on all the listed platforms.
Another example can be a parent who does not play this game but is making purchases for their child will read the marketing material, will read the legal document and will have been successfully deceived into believing their potentially large purchases will be available on those platforms.
- 6 years ago@Deni_Demolish Lolz this is a weird thread. So many games are under multiple platforms with no mention of cross progression/platform implemented or where it isn't even relevant or necessary but where ppl know it isnt. To think that because it's not listed is hinting at a possibility is your own subjectivity. If no mention is made of something you cant fault the subject for not disclosing something lest it be referenced by them in your favor somewhere.
That's company practice I believe. Leave room open for stuff but be so tightly wound about it.- 6 years ago
I dont think it is implied. I do think it should just be a mandatory addition to games that have in game purchases especially when those purchases are in the form of gambling such as lootboxes. This is a poorly veild attempt to get those whales spending again if they choose to play on another platform. But hey what do I know I'm just a * freeloader right? God EA is trash.
