Crossplay PC/console - my idea

Can keep your pc hack fest right there on pc, dont want to deal with any of that on console, thats why i got a console in the first place! Pc hackers getting invites to console games, no thanks! 

Ok so if they have any common sense there will be a disable option for cross play anyway.

This is respawn though so yeah....buckle up folks. 🤓

I also would like to have crossplay, as I also have tons of friends on the PS4, and they actually wouldn't mind playing vs PC just for fun and to enjoy the game with friends.

But it would have to be where console players join PC lobby via PC friend's invite, and not the other way around.

@wer30CZENope, not a good idea. You will have a huge advantage over the PS4 or Xbox players. While you and your friends might not mind you being a god against other PS4 players, I would and so would every other person you play against. You can’t join players who are using a controller, while you use a mouse and keyboard.

Microsoft has done studies of cross platform. They took the very best console players and grouped them against the worst PC players. It was not even remotely close, the bad PC players slaughtered the console players every single time.

Here are some reasons why.. one you’re not having to hold a controlled, so you can every single finger on a different button. That means you can pop off game actions at a much faster rate.. need to pop a shield? It’s faster for a mouse and keyboard player. Need to throw a nade? It’s faster for a mouse and keyboard player.

You can also have all 10 fingers on different game/legend actions. They best you could do with a modified controller is maybe 8 and that would be uncomfortable to hold the controller. That means much quicker response times than a controller played. You also don’t gave to deal with having one button control multiple features.

Then there is the clustering of actions/buttons on mouse and keyboard. It all leads to mouse and keyboard players being able to do things at a much quicker rate.

If you need an example of this.. go type a message with a controller on xbox live, it’s really slow. Yet if you type a message with a keyboard you can type extremely fast.. i can do 90+ wpm, no issue. Imagine that being the difference between controlling your legend..

If you want to play with your PS4 friends, buy a PS4.

Yes and COD keeps mouse and keyboard players separate from controller. Fortnite gives heavy aim assist to controller players.. 

i don’t want PC players mixed in with me on xbox. It’s really simple go buy a PS4 or xbox. They are not that expensive.. especially when compared to a solid gaming PC. I also don’t want the hoards of cheaters from PC flooding xbox.  

if they want to make a separate area/system for cross play go for it. But I want no part in it.
