Not entirely since he's a fundamentally different type of character, I still wanna be be able to play very aggressive with wraith, but I have been playing crypto more than wraith in ranked so far.

I do however also take note that most ppl haven’t played 10+ hours with him to know ‘how he should be used (by them)’. I’m under the impression, and you may prove me wrong, that any person can play with every character and be proficient with him/her in his/her own way. When I play bloodhound, I play differently than with lifeline for instance... but I’m good with both. Same can be said for Crypto. If a person knows how to hide well and spot well but sucks at shooting, he can drone the whole time. But that same method will not work for others who are more agressive. Same can be said for utilizing utilities or weapons.
So far, no random in my team has played the part of Crypto well imo. This will likely change somewhere next week.Just reached 100 kills with him last night, I only play with randoms.
It makes it that much more easier if the team communicates, or hears me talking lol.
Coming around corners, I always deploy my drone, having the element of surprise on your side helps a lot.
The banner recovery option with randoms is a god sent lol.
Love opening doors and crates with said drone for loot, saves me running around clueless for good loot....I do wish the drone could ping items tho, that would be amazing for my team.
As you can tell, I'm a team player first and foremost, which is probably why I really enjoy playing Crypto.
