I don't get the people that are trying to defending the micro transactions in this game this hard. As Addhocc said, nobody is against them, we all understand that they need money to keep developing the game. All we want is for them not to be exploitative. Every player would benefit from that, yet you are here fighting against it..
Do you really think that its ok to charge 11€ for a border? That border most likely only took 1 artist a few hours to make and its price is 1/6th of a AAA game which takes hundreds of people years to make, if you put both of those into perspective this is a joke. I get it that you can't directly compare those since not a lot of people would get the border, but its still too much.
On top of that, if that's the only thing you want, you have to spend 20€ to get an item that costs 11€.
How can you be okay with that? Its absolutely ridiculous.
I'm not even against lootboxes, like a lot of people are, I'd just like them to be a bit more reasonable, that's all.
Yeah I'm level 65 and I haven't gotten a level up box since level 60. Not much point in playing for nothing to chase after. No leaderboards either
