Custom button setting (PS4 and XBOX) is broken after Season-5

I use custom button setting (PS4) :

- Pick up : Square

- Ping : Cross (X)

When I try to loot death box, it doesn't honor my pick up setting anymore (after season-5 patch):

- Pick up : Cross (X) <----- BUG , should be Square.

- Ping : Cross (X)

This hugely impact me since I can't loot anymore now ☹️

Can follow up with Dev to fix it ? Thanks

I have the same issue here but im on xbox should be X for looting and A for ping on my set up but its only showing A for both. This issue is only when looting deathbox.

I recorded this video to easily explain the issue:
I can't play this game until Dev fix it, my muscle memory has been programmed for 1.5 years with this custom setting.
This's happen on PS4 and XBOX so can please ask Dev to address it ASAP (on the next patch) ?

@asukojo Yes im having issues too i cant pick up loot in boxes or use lobas black market thing because it pings instead of picking up items..

i use Ninja button layout and im not willing to go back to default my brains wired to that layout

Thanks for the posts, we'll pass the info on.

For now the "workaround" is to swap to default, but I'm aware that's not exactly an ideal option.

Cool and thanks.@EA_David whats I did for now is instead of ninja config I did a cutomise with all of ninja config but remaped ping makes it wierd to use some ultimate on certain legends specialy octane throwing the jump pad while runing but its the best I've found yet Also can you advise about shot not registering(but hear the shot cracking the opponent bit no damage registering) on certain guns like Lstar,wingman specially the wingwan makes us lose duals that we werent supose to lose XD

Thanks @xXNoIdEaxX1 that seems like a pretty good way to handle this.

As for the noreg shots, I know the devs have acknowledged it as a desync issue that's being looked into.

I'm having this issue. They released a patch today. So I thought they fixed it but they didn't. I hope it will fixed soon. I can't play with default setting because of the muscle memory.

@gundamaster I'm struggling hard with default setting, I've to think which button to press (used to be reflect with muscle memory), it's ok during normal mode but when fighting, I keep pressing my custom setting (muscle memory kick in), this totally mess up my game experience ☹️
It's like when you try to learn new language, you have to keep translate to your mother language first, it's painfull.
