Sure, some of the teammates left if downed or killed, but I was able to live and fight for much longer and even win solo or with the help of the other teammate. I've even been able to squad wipe alone, although I'm an average player, because I had the element of surprise and better gear.

As for the pings and voice chat, you may be wrong again. For example, I mute teammates a lot of times because I want to focus on the sounds of the game. Also, you are probably aware that there are issues with sounds missing in this game. Guess what: pings are also sounds, so they can have the same problem of not getting triggered. It happened to me a few times, I actually blamed a few for pushing unanounced before discovering this issue. And you know what other sounds keep missing more often lately? "We're being attacked by another squad!", "That was the last of that squad"...
