E-district again...

I understand where you're coming from, as someone who also used to hate this map my thoughts were similar. I have snice warmed up to ED the lighting change helped, finally being able to see was a big improvement. The map still has many choke points even though they fixed a few. Overall, it's a 6.5 out of 10 map for me. Don't hate it don't love it.   

This map was definitely a big mistake for this game, and was done at a time when gimmicks were being used as a way to bring back players when it was becoming obvious there were way too many problems in this game to fix them all before one season could start.  To EA/Respawn's credit, it seems they did fix many of the complaints that people initially had about E-District, such as making it a daytime map since visibility issues were a huge complaint, as well as the no loot or ammo bug that initially plagued the map where you would run through a dozen buildings and not find anything except maybe an arcstar or two.  So, I think the map is at least passable now and nowhere near as bad as it was, maybe now even though it is far from being a good map it is now at least Storm Point level of passable as a playable map.  In summary, at least they could have left it alone and left us with the monstrosity it used to be. Lol

It feels like a bit of a stretch to blame the population decline on a single map when, in fact, the game has a fairly lengthy list of crippling problems.

And to the OP: I don't know if you're aware of this, but it's possible to take a break from a game without uninstalling it. Especially when your only gripe is one single map that will be out of rotation again at the end of the season. Uninstalling seems pretty dramatic unless there are other issues you're having with the game.

Well, it is since they introduced ED that the numbers dropped. Coincidence?

Anyway, I installed the game again just now, and guess what:

At least if it isn't even installed I don't need to start it up to see this

E District is in ranked until the next... split? ladder? Whatever it is they're calling it these days.

But in trios you only have to wait 90 minutes for that map to roll over.

So if you're primarily a rank player then I get it. That's a long time to be stuck on a map you hate.

I'm always curious to hear what it is about a map/gun/legend/etc. it is that people hate, if you're willing to go into it.

Honestly I don't know what you're on about mate ... 

Maybe the fact that there is no cover on the map , maybe because there isn't any way to rotate or maybe not enough places to loot...
