I am usually very skeptical when it comes to dev trackers. They sound awesome on paper and are implemented with the best of intentions. But, they are also rarely correct because once excitement dies down, it seems like devs forget that those actually have to be updated. Like it has to be someone's job to go around the office, ask what things are been worked on, annotate the progress, double check what can be officially published, and then that person, or someone else, has to sit down and update the website. Also there are always changes to the timeline and allocation of resources, probably on weekly if not adaily basses, so as soon as something is published, it can be put on the back burner the next day.
It's better than nothing, but a lot of times they all end up with the same issue, where they are kinda just there.
