Yea. I really dont mind even paying for subscription, if a first person shooter is really cheater free.
For now, the only playable first person shooters are the very old ones, that are completely dead.
The terms of a subscription based on a guarantee of "no cheating" would ultimately be defined by the person who sold it. So "cheater free" would probably mean less than 5% cheating.

Your game isn't cheater free. In fact its infested. Humans would rather pay money than have this great game ruined by cheaters.
There are some ways being proposed that would deal with this - what is EA's response to this?
We continue to play Apex because its a great game when you dont get lazered by cheaters all the time. It does happen in a handful of games that cheaters don't appear, but it isn't very often. And those are the games we are holding onto Apex for - eventually this won't be worth while, and a massive pile of true human players - who would have paid for your game - will walk away.
Cheaters might make your player base look awesome but remember cheaters don't stream, and don't advertise your product. Much better to have humans playing the game and gather some hard earned dollars in the process, instead of looking to cheat us out of battle pass funds we wont be around to appreciate.
I'm calling you out, EA: Make Apex Legends great again! Make EA great again!
Nuke the cheating scum. Consign them to their own lagged AF servers. Make a payment gateway - charge for the game, add 2nd step of authentication to all accounts - via mobile. Do something, anything!
BTW: has anyone had any of their cheater reports followed up?
