Didn't receive apex coins after using code

I had gotten a $60 apex coin card as a birthday gift. I tried to use it on apex, it didn't work so I went over here to redeem the code https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/redemption/index and it worked... Or so I had thought. I logged onto apex soon after and saw none of my coins, I waited till the next day which is today and I still have yet to see my coins. When I try to use the code again it says that the code was already used, which means it took my code and didnt give me the coins. I had also double checked and saw that my steam apex account was linked to EA. I tried contacting services through here but nothing happens after clicking "Email Us".

  • @peqchii,

I think I know the issue then: If you play on Steam but redeemed the code via EA, you'll need to start the game up via the EA app in order to get your Apex coins. It's a weird quirk where progress is carried over between the two, but they're still separate platforms, if that makes sense.

Try launching Apex via the EA app, and let me know if your coins show up. 🙂

What about if this same thing happened to me but I play on PlayStation 4?
