Disconnect: Steam ID mismatch
Hello EA Support,
I am experiencing a persistent “Disconnect: Steam ID mismatch” error when trying to enter the Apex Legends lobby on my main account.
Here is my situation:
* I have only one Steam account.
* This Steam account is correctly linked to my EA account in Account Connections.
* I used to play Apex Legends on this exact Steam account and on the same laptop without any issues before.
* After a long period away from the game, I returned and was asked to register/verify my EA account again.
* Registration and verification completed successfully.
* However, every time I launch Apex Legends on my main account, I receive the error: “Disconnect: Steam ID mismatch”.
Troubleshooting already completed:
* Verified Apex Legends game files through Steam.
* Cleared local game and EA cache files.
* Logged out and back into Steam.
* Restarted the PC multiple times.
* Confirmed that the correct EA account is linked to the correct Steam account.
* Confirmed that I have never used another Steam account for Apex Legends on this system.
Important observation:
I created a completely new Steam account and launched Apex Legends on the same PC, using the same game installation and internet connection. The game entered the lobby successfully without any issues.
This suggests that the game installation, PC, and connection are working correctly, and that the problem is specific to my main EA/Steam account linkage or account data.
Could you please investigate my account (matinetemad ) (Steam ID: Matin) and help resolve the Steam ID mismatch issue?
