EDIT EXPLANATION: While the hammerpoint is still up there, at least the disruptor nerf is actually reasonable, it's useful now, tactile to say at least.
Lett's give it a few days.... Though without a doubt my first impression was that it's a bit OP lol. I was actually enjoying the alternator in the few days prior to season 2, so now it's just like, Damn.... Best gun in the game lol. In all honesty, the damage buff + recoil nerf already put it in a good place. But for now, I won't complain, since the disruptor hop up seems rare enough mostly. I've had several matches where I'll swap out the Alt for a 99 or 301 if I don't find the thing in time.
That flatline buff is nice though. That gun strikes fear into the enemy now when you use it. Without being OP. Just a nice fair buff that totally legitimizes the weapon. And the GOLD P20! What a got damn beast lol. Agree with some prior comments about the P20 / Flatline combo being comically good. It actually is lol.
It'll be fun to enjoy these changes for a while, but I feel as though it remains to be seen, if the meta is truly in a good place after these changes. Not that it's in a bad place. Just, a weird place lol, I guess. We'll figure it out
