Hello there, @PatrickWSwayze.
Some players aren't much older than ten, where they will run around trying to understand what it is they're expected to do on Apex Legends.
Often, they either don't have the talent to play, or they're too young to understand. Bots are nonexistent in Apex, so you must have been unfortunately paired up with an incompetent player.
