@Swarth2300 I can understand that fear but even without playing her... or maybe I’m a streamer and I already have 😏... there are a couple things to note between the two based on their legend kits.
1) Range. It seems that you can select where the missiles scatter to, but from the trailer they seem like close range cluster missiles instead of long range. So there will most likely be a limit to where and how effective it is cause I don’t think Respawn will make it that how further you sum how less accurate or densely they impact.
This in stark contrast to Captain Eyepatch who can easily fire his 100m with pinpoint accuracy and his goes over 170m. So that’s point for fuse.
2) Area of Impact. I think this is why you think Valk’s will be better if I may presume. The area is much bigger, no denying that so Valk wins here.
3) “You like gooey? I like sticky!” <— Don’t google this XD. I haven’t but I’m not expecting PG-13 results xD. But Fuse’s tact sticks whereas Valk’s doesn’t (well they didn’t say so in the trailer). I think that if you’re good at aiming then this can make up for the lack of area. So Fuse wins here imo...
4) Damage. Okay so we know that each direct missile does 25 dmg. But what about splash damage? They haven’t said anything about that. Is if a missile explodes right at someone’s feet who has 25 lucky or will it be a down/death. We don’t know.
In the trailer the team was surrounded by the missiles but there were some gaps but it looks like even in the gaps between missile impact zones the mirage and wraith got damaged so I’m guessing there is splash damage. Factoring splash damage you can get hit by 4 missiles it seems so 100 dmg. Fuse did 50 (if you stand still or close to impact zone or get a stick). It’s now 100 in S9. So technically you could say they’re equal here cause in both situations you could hit multiple ppl. But I’d give this one to Valk cause it’s way easier due to the radius to get more or more consistent damage with hers than Fuse’s.
So it’s 2 v 2... but now...
Re-charge. We know Fuse’s will be 16 seconds. I’m guessing Valk’s will be slightly longer at 20-25. So preliminary I’d say Fuse still comes out on top. Especially cause you can sneak and snipe with him as a character while with Valk you’re in the air as loud as teammates footsteps x10 probably so not easier to get your shots off... especially not indoors, where fuse can still do his.
This is all speculation and educated guesses of course so it’s wait and see obviously.
