@Swarth2300 Will likely be a good fit. If teammates can still fire their guns, ordnances while in the Valk ult, it will be good indeed.
A situation I see happening is Storm 3. You’re on the edge and flying. You see a team below running to escape as well and you pop your ult as fuse so they have to risk storm or ult dmg and for good message you chuck some nades or arcs...
But 2 tact and reduction is good in early game. Easy knock if you land with someone if he doesn’t get a shield. Also good for crowd control long distance.

@Koochi-Q interesting reply thank you, my worry is valk's tactical is just a better fuse tactical but until valk is usable i am not going to claim that is the case, i do agree with fuse it will make a great difference early on, will help him with long range(my aim is trash long range so the tactical will help me so much long range) so i do see this as a decent improvement for him but not sure if it will push him up too much
also will help him against caustic because obviously he can destroy his traps easier(if caustic is in a building) so i see a few situations where this helps a lot

- 4 years ago@Swarth2300 I can understand that fear but even without playing her... or maybe I’m a streamer and I already have 😏... there are a couple things to note between the two based on their legend kits.
1) Range. It seems that you can select where the missiles scatter to, but from the trailer they seem like close range cluster missiles instead of long range. So there will most likely be a limit to where and how effective it is cause I don’t think Respawn will make it that how further you sum how less accurate or densely they impact.
This in stark contrast to Captain Eyepatch who can easily fire his 100m with pinpoint accuracy and his goes over 170m. So that’s point for fuse.
2) Area of Impact. I think this is why you think Valk’s will be better if I may presume. The area is much bigger, no denying that so Valk wins here.
3) “You like gooey? I like sticky!” <— Don’t google this XD. I haven’t but I’m not expecting PG-13 results xD. But Fuse’s tact sticks whereas Valk’s doesn’t (well they didn’t say so in the trailer). I think that if you’re good at aiming then this can make up for the lack of area. So Fuse wins here imo...
4) Damage. Okay so we know that each direct missile does 25 dmg. But what about splash damage? They haven’t said anything about that. Is if a missile explodes right at someone’s feet who has 25 lucky or will it be a down/death. We don’t know.
In the trailer the team was surrounded by the missiles but there were some gaps but it looks like even in the gaps between missile impact zones the mirage and wraith got damaged so I’m guessing there is splash damage. Factoring splash damage you can get hit by 4 missiles it seems so 100 dmg. Fuse did 50 (if you stand still or close to impact zone or get a stick). It’s now 100 in S9. So technically you could say they’re equal here cause in both situations you could hit multiple ppl. But I’d give this one to Valk cause it’s way easier due to the radius to get more or more consistent damage with hers than Fuse’s.
So it’s 2 v 2... but now...
Re-charge. We know Fuse’s will be 16 seconds. I’m guessing Valk’s will be slightly longer at 20-25. So preliminary I’d say Fuse still comes out on top. Especially cause you can sneak and snipe with him as a character while with Valk you’re in the air as loud as teammates footsteps x10 probably so not easier to get your shots off... especially not indoors, where fuse can still do his.
This is all speculation and educated guesses of course so it’s wait and see obviously.- 4 years ago
@Koochi-Q I read another fuse post elsewhere...
Might have been @EdwardDLuffy that pointed out the real issue with fuse was his ult....which I 100% agree on. The extra knuckle shot is a nice touch but I think it's the wrong buff for him personally.
Obviously pure conjecture at this point but valks kit is sounding like it'll be more valuable overall.

Fuse: "Dropping the Motherload! Die you mothers! Boil in my ferocious ring of fiery flames!"
Octane: "Jump pad out."
- 4 years ago@Koochi-Q getting to play early sounds awesome, and thank you for how much detail you put into this, honestly very excited for season 9, sounds like the tactical's are for different things, i do very much love the distance the arm cannon gives you, makes it easier against snipers(or at least makes them back off for a bit), is perfect for attacking the high ground and taking that from the enemy team
i remember once the entire enemy team was on the high ground and i just spammed them with my tactical and a number of nades, if i had 1 more tactical use they would have died so i look forward to this buff i just hope its enough, it will at least make him more fun to play(which is my goal when playing apex or any game) - Lord_Scorpion344 years agoLegend

- 4 years ago@Lord_Scorpion34 i like the fact that fuse's sticks i just wish it followed the stuck target around because if its stuck that is what it should do
