The sbmm is pub games is garbage, if I wanted to sweat my butt off every game I would just play ranked. They are ruining this game, I cant even play it anymore. I just dont enjoy it like I use too

I'm enjoying the game greatly, I'm excited to see what next season brings.Could care less about the SBMM it's in other games. I don't even notice it until I get stream rolled. Even then those games are few and far in between.

@Pkyle00 Go read one of the endless sbmm whiners and the responses. You don’t like playing against equal skill? Imagine how all the lower skill players felt with out it when you slaughtered them. You’re literally crying to be matched with lower skill players so you can have easy rounds.. come on, put your big boy pants on and grow up.Really getting tired of you sbmm complainers.. waaah I can’t slaughter lower rank people, waaah, my stats are not good anymore waaah..

Here is a question for all you SBMM supporters:If you were so turned off by seeing Predators in your public matches then why weren’t you playing ranked? You guys do know that the SBMM in ranked would have provided you exactly what you have now, right? Developers heard your complaints and made it so everyone is now playing competitive matches— this can be stressful if its all thats offered. Sure, you are enjoying the fact that there aren’t any god teams in your lobby, but you still have to deal with the fact that EVERY engagement you have is going to be stressful, because your opponents have been specifically selected to challenge you. With a random lobby, you had a 95% chance that you weren’t going to be in a gun fight with a Predator (because according to the statistics, Predators only make up about 5%of the community.) Was it really THAT bad? I’d argue that consistently running into people of your skill level is actually harder and more stressful than running into high skill players occasionally.Thoughts?

What I’m saying is that new players should have the option to choose a random lobby or a SBMM lobby. Previously, they had that option. They had the option to play ranked (which would protect them from high skilled players) or they could roll the dice and play public matches. But they picked pubs and would occasionally run into high skilled players. This resulted in complaints which resulted in the implementation of SBMM.The more options players/customers have, the better.

Does anyone even enjoy apex anymore!

I still enjoy the game just from pure mechanics perspective. This game is the best when it comes to fast paced movement and tight gunplay.
BUT you are right, it's difficult to enjoy as Battle Royale game, especially with friends, as I am pretty sure that when you play with friends the game assumes that all of you are * awesome and just puts you against insane players. Its definitely much harder compared to when I play by myself with two randoms. Not only that, I just played like three hours with a friend of mine, and we had so many games where our third dude disconnected before game even started, it was crazy, the game become way difficult with just 2 people (They might as well just bring duos back, because number of disconnected teammates is high).
So the game feels good to play, but not enjoyable as in overall experience of this genera.
One thing I say, they keep giving me reasons to keep not spending any money though, which probably is a good thing for me I guess ha

Playing as a duo does seem to just break matchmaking lol.
Maybe 2/5 games i play as part of a duo we don't even have a third player at the legend selection screen,then you throw in those games where your third is determined to die within the first 2 minutes Kinda irritating.

@Pkyle00 Heck yeah I'm still loving this game! It's got the perfect mechanics for a Battle Royal, and it's free to play! My mates just picked it up as well and I've had a ton of fun trying to carry them to a win. The guys at Respawn keep working hard to pump out new content and keep the game active as well. But I guess you can't handle being matched with people your own skill aye? I'll admit, I haven't been getting nearly as many wins as I used to, but that's because SBMM is working and putting me with teammates that even out the average skill of everyone else.

I enjoy Apex a lot, though I've been playing platinum ranked games and they're a lot more forgiving that vanilla Apex at the moment.

@Pkyle00 Still enjoying it regardless, but I do agree SBMM needs a tweak or two.

Just keep grinding, i believe it will eventually be addressed.

@Pkyle00 Would you rather be paired up with randoms who have a low skill or randoms around your skill level?

You could always go into the new mode if you just wanna shoot at players without much effort or go into training with some friends and duke it out

The game would eventually pair you up with more difficult players as not all Ranked players stick only to rank, they wanna have some casual fun too and that's when they come across you and slap you back and forth before they hop off and do it again tomorrow.
