Drawing the line on Teaming
Hey guys, I’m trying to wrap my head around the concept of teaming being an unethical thing to do in a video game. In most games I just simply play my Apex with pubs and sometimes I win, sometimes I lose horribly fast.
However once in a very blue moon, I come across either a lone player or a team that we have each other in our ironsights, but then one starts teabagging, and then I or someone on my team teabags, and then suddenly become friendlies. And then we just journey across the map, only to get clobbered by a thirsty team.
Another example is where say this one guy and I are the only ones left and we battle it out. I beat him, but then instead of finishing him off I drop a phoenix kit for him to revive. And while he’s self-reviving I throw down my weapons and armor as a gesture of extending an olive branch. The guy accepts it, and we just kinda teabag around the map til the ring gets 6 ft in circumference and then we punch each other to victory (I lost that one lol)
If the rules of Apex dictates that we have to battle royale it out that’s fine, I’ll do that than getting in trouble (and even those two examples above, I can only attest to the second one). However, is this really such a bad thing that we can get bad for trying to “make friends” in our short moments in a match?
