POI Selector while picking Legends (Apex Legends)
Hi, Considering how Season 28 started and after seeing the update, I could hardly wait to launch my first game and try ranked. However, I was quickly disappointed. I really don’t like the old dropship system that feels like pubs. By the second zone, there were fewer than 10 squads left and it felt like I was playing slightly harder pubs. It didn’t feel fun or original at all. I think the dropship system with a selected POI was on the right track, it just needed some improvements to prevent landing at the same spot game after game. For example, the map could be divided into four quadrants, each with a 25% landing chance, to reduce repetition - especially when it comes to no name locations that don’t have as much loot as other POIs. I mean, it was fine to land in those areas, but not two or three times in a row. Another idea could be a POI selector during the legend pick phase, where players could see in percentages how many squads selected each area of the map. That way, we would better understand our actual chances of landing exactly where we want. Sometimes it felt like luck played too big of a role from one game to another, depending on the landing spot. The previous system gave enough time to loot and enough time to prepare for a proper 3v3 fight or to deal with a potential third party. What do you think?Should apex bring low gravity back to firing range
In my personal opinion I've seen 23 out of 32 of my friends stop playing cause of the firing range changes the map the guns being converted to different ammos and even the low gravity or gun recoil have all been a reason why my friends have quit playing I genuinely don't find the firing range being the same as it used to be a problem it was so much more fun honestly just needs to be bigger map for firing range and zones for 1v1s or tag or practicing aim or movement like in game please make the firing range more enjoyable like it used to be with low gravityDisappointed
This game sucks now. I’ve been playing since it came out in February 2019. I played it the other night for 6 HOURS. I did not get a win, got annihilated every time I landed. Somehow I would land, pick up a gun and it would not have bullets? I would always run out of ammo, shield cells, and or syringes. Also, why the **bleep** is everything so expensive in this game. I’ve been a loyal player for years and I don’t have ANY heirlooms. The cheating is unbelievable and it’s so obvious that there are smurfs in every lobby in unranked.Thoughts on improving Apex Legends Without changing its core identity.
Hi Respawn team, I've been playing Apex Legends for a long time, on and off, and i recently came back to the game after break. What surprised me the most is that the core gameplay still feels amazing : movement, gunplay, pacing - this is still one of the most unique FPS experiences out there. That said, I wanted to share some constructive feedback from the perspective of a player who mainly plays solo and values mechanical skill, movement and long-term enjoyment. 1- Solo modes (Ranked & Casual) I truly believe a solo mode (ranked and/or casual) would benefit Apex a lot. Many players queue alone and want to improve without being dependent on random teammates. A solo environment would reduce frustration, encourage personal responsability, and create a strong space to practice mechanics and decision-making. 2- Aim Assist balance Aim assist is necessary and should stay, but a slight adjustment could improve fairness, especially at highter skill levels. Rewarding real tracking and positioning a bit more would help balance controller vs KBM without removing accessibility. 3- New maps focused on movement (medium-sized) Maps that are not too large, with good verticality and flow, really highlight what makes Apex special. Areas where movement is encouraged and rewarded make the game more fun aand expressive. Compact, movement-friendly maps would greatly improve replayability. 4- Fun, replayable game modes Permanent or rotating fun modes that focus on movement, aim, or fast-paced combat would help players enjoy Apex without pressure. Not just short-term events, but modes people can come back to regulary. 5- Store & cosmetic presentation Apex has beautiful skins and iconic heirlooms, but the store could feel more exciting and curated. A better presentation would increase player attachment and willingness to support the game. 6- Audio consistency Sound is one of the most important elements in a fast-placed FPS. Improving audio clarity and consistency (especially footsteps) would significantly enhance competitive integrity and player trust. Overall, Apex's gameplay foundation is already excellent. These changes wouldn't reinvent the game - they would strengthen what already makes it unique and enjoyable. Thank you for continuing to support Apex Legends, and for creating a game that still offers such a strong sense of movement and expression. - A passionate Apex player.144Views1like2CommentsGive tapstafing back to controller players or remove it entirely!
Give tapstafing back to controller players or remove it entirely! Almost every game i get into, i ALWAYS die to an MnK tapstrafe warrior... getting tired of now being able to do it myself whilst getting juked by players who can STILL do it! [CM edit - CAPS]Apex Legends is proving to be a frustrating game
Apex Legends is proving to be a frustrating game. I only play ranked and never in squads because I'm not in the game to make friends. My matchmaking is always terrible, and I always end up playing against pre-made squads. It's difficult. As long as solo players are playing against pre-made squads, they won't stand a chance, and they need to get rid of that 10-minute penalty period where you leave the match and lose points. Less penalty is better because I'll always leave when I have bots on my team or suicidal players. Isn't the point of the game to reach the end?112Views0likes6CommentsWe should add solos battle Royale
I've been playing Apex for 3 years and I think it would be and improvement for competitive players if apex Legends were to add solos ranked and solo battle Royale. It would be a nice improvement and entertaining update for teens and all ages. Forward more it would eventful if you guys were to add tournaments for solos it would truly be competitive because it will test the player's skill against the whole map of just solos players. But of course for this you guys would have to make a smaller map and I know what you're thinking what am I thinking? I'm trying to look out for everyone's entertainment especially mine because I've been wanting solos and I know six other people that would want solos in their game too yes you guys do a great job and making sure updates are up to date and making sure it's fun for us to play and I don't know if this is controversial but I feel like a lot of people would love solos to be added. Take what you want from this discussion and forward it into the game or not but thank you for your time have a nice Happy New years.Change the ranked badge system
Currently, Predator badges are forced to display the exact ranking number. There should be an option to toggle the ranking number on or off. In Apex Legends, badges are one of the most important motivational elements for players. A ranked badge that does not glow and only displays a ranking number is not appealing, regardless of how high the rank is. I believe the badge should glow as soon as a player reaches that rank in a split. Players who maintain the rank across both splits should instead be rewarded with other incentives, such as a dive trail or similar exclusive rewards. Additionally, the current orange glow is not visually appealing. The older white glow and previous badge designs were very well received by the community. I don’t understand why the current design does not lean closer to those earlier, more popular styles.67Views0likes0CommentsApex Legends 2025 Summary
How would you summarize this year for Apex Legends? Do you think the game is heading in a positive direction, or is it declining? Respawn and EA should know what just a few people on this forum think of their work. I'll start with myself. The worst year for Apex Legends. The current development team needs immediate overhaul. For the past few seasons, this game has been nothing but a wreck. The balance between Legends has deteriorated season after season, as has the weapon balance. Maps are increasingly geared towards characters with better movement abilities—flying, gliding, jumping, teleporting, etc. Free movement has dominated the game so much that nothing else matters now, and with a low TTK and visible health bars, fights are lightning-fast, with no time to react (especially in open spaces). And cheaters? Percentage-wise, we have the highest number of cheaters (perhaps even since the game's release). Well, this isn't Apex Legends anymore, this is Titanfall Legends. Merry Christmas.
