EA Disappoints Again
Again EA decide to shaft players of its games with no crossplay and progression, when will they learn? I have no desire to play this game until they sort their lives out and stop shafting their play...

Actually you can thank Sony for the lack of crossplay, not EA.
Sony bowed to Epic/Fortnite due to it's popularity, so how about actually PLAYING the game to make it popular, rather than boycotting it for an irrational and unfounded reason?

Sorry the Sony blame game doesn’t work anymore. EA need to man up on behalf of their sizeable community and leverage Sony with its titles. If EA turned round to Sony and said we won’t be supporting your platform anymore Sony would literally lay a brick. I think even Sony know this is the way forward now and there is still nothing stopping EA setting up C&P across the other platforms so Sony aren’t the only obstacle here. Time for EA to move with times.

Don't get me wrong, I think crossplay (with a filter to allow console users to chose whether or not to play against PC/mouse keyboard users or not) is a good idea.
Boycotting the game because it's not there right now is shooting yourself in the foot: you're missing out on a fun game, progressing, and learning about the mechanics.Your totally right Junta but equally if players don’t take a stand they are as guilty as the console manufacturers and games makers.
All the petty console/platform battle lines should be ignored and these people should be thinking about their gaming community. Kudos to Epic and its player base as well as it’s You Tube streamers for levelling pressure on Sony to make it happen. Also there are other games like Rocket League and Paladins moving in the same direction, time for EA to smell the coffee.People just want to be able to play with their friends when they want and how they want. Games companies just wanting to rinse their player base are becoming even more exposed, FIFA is a prime example of this.
@ThisIsTheJunta That's 110% wrong. Sony has allowed cross-play since the PS2 era. When Sony went to XBOX last generation Microsoft told them no.

That's incorrect. Yes ps2 did allow cross-platform with the PC, but not the xbox. Any proof Microsoft told them no? I know during the ps4 era, Ark, Rocket League and Gwent all said they had the technical side of ps4-xb1 cross play implemented and could activate within hours after getting the word from SONY. Which they said no to. They are just now allowing it after the whole fortnite on switch debacle. (Locking people out of their own account for linking it with ps4 )
