Again EA decide to shaft players of its games with no crossplay and progression, when will they learn?
I have no desire to play this game until they sort their lives out and stop shafting their player community. The same goes for FIFA.
Epic Games and Fortnite showed the way ahead with F2P with C&P across all platforms, well done Epic for serving your community well. Hence why Fortnite will outlive Apex and rightly so.
You need to realise your expectations are higher than reality.Fortnite did NOT launch with crossplay,not even close.this games barely a week old,give it time.its unfair to be judging something with a rule of thumb Fortnite didn't even follow.Now,once the time has elapsed where its at the same time period it took EPIC to implement crossplay etc,then you an chew on EA,seems fair no?
You know, I was actually thinking the opposite as you. With all the hate EA has received over the passed few years for monetization practices to not listening to their player base, they really have a gem in this game.
One of the things I truly enjoy about it is that it doesn't tip-toe the genre. Too often, games hide certain stats or rankings so 'everyone feels included'. I love that this game tracks everything and the sole purpose is to be #1. It's almost hunger games/ game show/ the most dangerous game sort of feel and while PUBG and Fortnite are obviously killing it, they each bring something different to the genre. PUBG being a loosely based tactical BR while Fortnite has the building element. Apex seems to cut out the frills and wants everyone competing for bragging rights. I love what they have done with the character selections, to the banners, to the finishing moves. Apex wants there to be a #1 with no participation trophies and I love the * out of it.
@ThisIsTheJunta That's 110% wrong. Sony has allowed cross-play since the PS2 era. When Sony went to XBOX last generation Microsoft told them no.

That's incorrect. Yes ps2 did allow cross-platform with the PC, but not the xbox. Any proof Microsoft told them no? I know during the ps4 era, Ark, Rocket League and Gwent all said they had the technical side of ps4-xb1 cross play implemented and could activate within hours after getting the word from SONY. Which they said no to. They are just now allowing it after the whole fortnite on switch debacle. (Locking people out of their own account for linking it with ps4 )
