End of Match Damage Values
I'm wondering if anyone knows what counts towards the 'Damage' stat displayed at the end of the match. Is it only when you manage to hurt someone's HP, or does it also include damage done to shields...

You don't get awarded a kill in the following scenarios:
- If you knock someone down but they're still crawling when you yourself are knocked out of the match
- If you knock someone down, but their teammate revives them before they're knocked out
- If someone else knocked an enemy down, and while they're crawling you're the one that knocks them out completely. In this case, the kill goes to the person who knocked them down and you get an assist.
Also, separate from my original question, I'm pretty confident that damage done to someone already knocked down (regardless of if you're damaging their knockdown shield or their 'knock down hp') doesn't count towards your match totals. I don't have confirmation on this either though.
I can say for sure that knocked down shields dont count for damage tottal. As a test i broke purple shields (650 life) and after the match i had ~450 dmg dealt.

Yep, shooting downed enemies doesn't count towards your damage numbers, it just counts what you did to get the knockdown in the first place.
Hi David - can you comment quickly whether the end-of-match damage value is HP + Shield damage, or HP damage only? Thanks!

I don't have any exclusive insider info or anything because this is just from my play, but I'm quite sure that it counts shield damage too. Obviously this can be hard to track on longer games, but I have single-kill games where I did 150 damage exactly, and took out a player with a level 1 shield.
It does now?
