Epic fail with xbox gift cards

Long story short one of the young adults I play with frequently had a Birthday. So I buy him some xbox gift cards thinking I’ll send him the code and he can get some skins or what ever he wants.

I send him screen shots of the codes and yup, they are for a different region! I guess American gift cards don’t work in Canada. 😑

@DarthValtrex Lolz did you buy them online or at a shop? I always buy online and those are always nonspecific domain. Try cdkeys

That's pretty rough. It might be worth reaching out to Xbox Support to see if there's anything they can do to help, but I'm not sure about their policies on a case like that.
