@MandatoryIDtagMake white 50 hp. Give people the choice of evo or not. Change red from 125 to a perk like gold.
Relying on dead players for crap armour swapping to deal with 3rd parties is worse than before and we need something to counter that, not take it away. Or promoting this campy sniper, to risky to push meta in a game with movement being so important and previously enjoyed.
@apostolateofDOOM Is it really that big an issue if the values have been reset to pre s6 though? As that will mean the damage to upgrade one will be reverted too which is basically nothing.
I think I'm just gonna have to respectfully disagree with you on this one mate, we're not going to see eye to eye on this subject. :D
@MandatoryIDtagTime it takes to charge, promoting camping, giving noobs easier kills on drop, not having the choice.. If you think these are positive for Apex then i guess so.
@apostolateofDOOM Camping has been prevelant since s2.
Shields take a couple of seconds to charge regardless of whether its evo or a normal shield..the issue there is clunky switch outs which is what you would do rather than sit there popping cells or a bat.
As for giving noobs easier kills...the volt is single handedly responsible for that as far as i'm concerned.
My bet is now that they reverted the shield change.
They will screw us in a different way and make shield swaps a thing of the past. If you loot a box you get the *armor upgrade* but not the hp. They'll likely make armor undropabble and an automatic upgrade system when opening a box.
If people can't shield swap fights last less time.
@apostolateofDOOM yea, I don't think this is the end of them messing with armor game and then trying to remove skill gaps at all. I honestly expected the armor swap to be nerfed before what they did at the beginning of this season.
