@MandatoryIDtag I never thought of that. I don't even use my stick to crouch, so that could work pretty well for me. I use my paddles for crouch/reload/loot/swap weapon/jump. I almost never take my thumbs off the sticks these days. I'll have to fiddle around with my crouch, and see what I can come up with. I always end up with pretty bad drift on my left stick, because of the sprinting in most games. I absolutely LOVE the auto-sprint on Apex! It works so much better than other games. I hate it on CoD, because I find myself sprinting when I don't want to. I never had that issue on Apex though
I like the long right stick, just because I feel like I have more precise aim. It helps close the gap between PC and the severely hindered controller, ever so slightly, imo. One of these days, I'll have me a good gaming rig, and never play FPS on controller again, but until then, this dang Elite controller is where it's at for me! It wasn't that much of a jump when I switched over from regular controllers, mainly because I used those toggle extenders on the regular controllers anyway, so I was somewhat familiar with taller sticks already. My actual controller grip was the hardest change. I had to adjust how I hold it, so I don't accidentally press my paddles haha. Makes me wish I had gotten a Scuff back in the day. (That turned in to a lot more words than initially calculated...)
@OldTreeCreeper That is awesome! "Young tree" haha, that's dope. Glad to know there are people older than me, 'round these parts. But yea, good ol' Arthur Dent! Most of my friends have never heard of him
