@dSKyNafinchin  I use thumbstick extenders, I seem to clench press the analog way less now, although even if I do I only crouch so it usually just means the difference between a head shot and a body shot.

@OldTreeCreeper Haha what an amazing show!! Still one of my favorites. My sister has a translator fish tattoo behind her ear XD

@MandatoryIDtag I use the long thumbstick for the right toggle on my Elite controller, but the shorter, domed one for my left stick. Maybe I'll try putting a longer one on the left stick too, and see if that helps. My clench-press usually happens on my right stick though, and makes me melee in the middle of trying to shoot, Lmao. Perhaps, having the tall one on both sides, will help my subconscious mind, because they'll both be the same height.

I didn't even get to work on sniping at all yesterday, because they went and dropped Halo Infinite multiplayer early!!

@dSKyNafinchin  just a thought but try switching melee/crouch around, once you get the feel for it your movement becomes much more fluid.

In the interest of full disclosure though it will take a toll on your right analog stick...I get drift pretty frequently as I'm heavy handed.

As for the stick extended I'm kinda weird.....I play long stick on left analog and a medium on my right....couldn't get my aim dialed in on right analog long lol.

@Cheese9ManThis for sure on the rapid elimination. I got screwed on my triple triple with caustic a long time ago and it still stings. Killed 2 3 mans as a solo and then found a squad hiding in a building as wattson. Chucked my ult in and blocked the door with barrels. Unfortunately it was only a 2 man team I wiped.

@MandatoryIDtag I never thought of that. I don't even use my stick to crouch, so that could work pretty well for me. I use my paddles for crouch/reload/loot/swap weapon/jump. I almost never take my thumbs off the sticks these days. I'll have to fiddle around with my crouch, and see what I can come up with. I always end up with pretty bad drift on my left stick, because of the sprinting in most games. I absolutely LOVE the auto-sprint on Apex! It works so much better than other games. I hate it on CoD, because I find myself sprinting when I don't want to. I never had that issue on Apex though

I like the long right stick, just because I feel like I have more precise aim. It helps close the gap between PC and the severely hindered controller, ever so slightly, imo. One of these days, I'll have me a good gaming rig, and never play FPS on controller again, but until then, this dang Elite controller is where it's at for me! It wasn't that much of a jump when I switched over from regular controllers, mainly because I used those toggle extenders on the regular controllers anyway, so I was somewhat familiar with taller sticks already. My actual controller grip was the hardest change. I had to adjust how I hold it, so I don't accidentally press my paddles haha. Makes me wish I had gotten a Scuff back in the day. (That turned in to a lot more words than initially calculated...)

@OldTreeCreeper That is awesome! "Young tree" haha, that's dope. Glad to know there are people older than me, 'round these parts. But yea, good ol' Arthur Dent! Most of my friends have never heard of him
