Hey, well regarding the legend ranking I would say that Wattson and Pathfinder are the strongest two - basically S tier (after that Wraith-Lifeline in A tier). Bangalore in B tier, and the remaining cast in D.
What make Wattson so strong is that she can bunker up positions, and she is also great at defending vs 3d partying (with out being a reliability to the team, Caustic+Gibraltar are also decent vs 3d partying but they are a reliability to the team - Wattson is still good in gun fights and has better bunkering anti 3d partying abilities).
Pathfinder, has insane mobility + can get team high ground in every fight (when everyone has a god aim, what determines the outcome is positioning / high ground).
Pathfinder+Wattson is the meta in tournaments. Since they are the two strongest legends. Not having this combo will make it almost impossible to win. As Pathfinder can get team high ground - can also zipline dance during small rings, and Wattson being able to bunker up the high ground position made available by Pathfinder.
Weapon Rankings I would place Longbow in first place - only weapon I would rank as S tier atm (Medium-Long range - Wingman was dethroned but still the next best in line, best close range weapons = R99/Mastiff).
My personal favorite is Peacekeeper. Its a love hate relationship, when I get the flick shots in we are best pals.
Pretty sure Wraith is S tier, and Wattson is A tier. It's what pro players say, technically, you could have caustic instead of Wattson, tho Wattson is clearly better.
But Wraith is literally the only option to reposition your team in the very late game, and is irreplaceable.
@Wingmannedbrotrue, most pro teams are running Pathfinder+Wattson+Wraith or Lifeline.
But I still think Pathfinder and Wattson are in a division above, seeing what they have compared to Wraith (a team could still do decent with out a Wraith, but without a Pathfinder/Wattson Its more or less impossible).

I think what you're missing is Wraiths Q and ultimate ability to immune damage making her a must have for the final ring fight.
Dunno if you saw Xgames, but literally every team had wraith, but not every team had wattson. According to pro's wraith is S tier.
